To help us help you find the best possible home for your dog, please follow these steps:

1. Ensure that your dog is up to date on all shots, including rabies and DHLPP. You will need to send us copies of your dog's vet records indicating these shots have been administered.
2. Neuter or spay your dog and send us a copy of his or her neuter/spay certificate.
3. Complete the rehome application. Please provide as much truthful information as you can, including details about any personality characteristics (good and not-so-good). We will write a description that puts your dog in his or her best light yet provides an honest and thorough assessment to help the new family to make an informed decision.
4. Send us a recent photo of your dog via e-mail or "snail mail." We have found that a good photo, along with a truthful description, helps a prospective family develop an immediate connection with your dog before they even meet him or her.

We hate to see families give up the dogs they love and if you need a little help to work through some issues, we would be happy to provide some alternatives to rehoming.
