Sasha
-  She’s
a very pretty girl too, black and creamy white. Her ‘white’
is more like a soft golden color, like butter. She has
a touch of gray around her muzzle. She’s approximately
8 years old (give or take), and she’s already been
spayed. She weighs in at 72 pounds. Sasha arrived on 4/20/08,
and was processed on 4/25/08. She arrived as a stray,
so we know that she’s a smart girl to have made
it here unscathed. She arrived with an infection on both
sides of her lower lips, so she’s on an antibiotic
for that. She’ll be feeling much better in a few
days. We brought her up to date on her vaccinations, and
her monthly flea and tick preventative too. Sasha is a
quiet girl. She doesn’t join in with all the barking
and carrying on that goes on around her here at our sometimes
noisy shelter. She’s interested, and alert –
but she remains peaceful. That must be her maturity showing!
She greets visitors serenely, and ‘sits’ politely
to meet them. She has a soft coat, and although her eyes
are a touch cloudy, they shine with affection.

Vesta
- This senior girl is a lucky girl. She was diagnosed
with bladder cancer and turned into us. But, it turns
out that what she had was a huge bladder stone. So, now
she is ready for a home. She would make a great companion
in a short amount of time.

Sandy
- Sandy is once again looking for a home. She is well
trained and knows how to live in a home. Sandy can be
bossy with female dogs and she does not do well with small
dogs or cats. She is loving towards her family but she
really wants to be the only fur kid in the home. If you
would like to add a dog to your home but you don't have
the time to do a lot of training, why not meet Sandy and
see if she could bea good match for your family?
