TOTTSHR works with shelters in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and on occasion Washington, D.C., to find homes for Siberian Huskies and Husky mixes. We contact the shelters on a weekly basis to gather information and check the status of all Huskies and Husky mixes that are there.

If we have foster space available, we take the dogs out of the shelters, place them in foster care, and post them on our site as "Currently Available – Our Dogs." When we do not have foster space available, we post the dogs on "Currently Available – Shelter Dogs" to help the shelters gain more exposure for them.

If you see a dog in the Shelter Dog pages that you would like to meet, please contact the shelter directly. Each shelter has its own adoption policy and application process.

If you are a shelter representative for a shelter located in one of the states we serve, please contact shelterintake@siberescue.com to find out how you can be assigned a shelter liaison. The shelter liaison will contact you each week to get a current list of the Siberian Huskies and Siberian Husky Mixes in your shelter.
