Thanks first off to everyone who helped in Saturdays big rescue venture, you guys are all TRUE rescuers! My tiny boy is SO scared! He did not go on paper outside but did go on the grass, so thats a good thing so far. Everyone who has a Monmouth dog, watch out he tried to eat my dogs stool as soon as it came out of her but this morning...breaks my heart! I fed him some Wellness this morning and he acted like he hadn't eaten in days. He got another bath last night due to some stenchiness still present (I think its going to take a month to get that smell all out). He is very nervous about my dogs, but is running a little with them in the yard and through the house. So far so good, he also slept in the crate last night for 7.5 hours after only a few minutes of whimpering. He's got alot to learn and alot to eat!He also has a sore on his chest, not sure if it's a tick or just a scab..will invesigate further.

My little Cos is slowly coming around. he handled a walk yesterday very well(it was a short one).I found a spot on his neck that he loves for you to rub!Yesterday he was even romping around with my dogs in the yard at a safe distance of course! Now today, he actually was running through the house in the morning with my gilrs and I saw a few play bows even!We are going to work hard on the potty thing. He goes outside every time I take him, he just doesn't tell me he needs to go. And let me tell you, he eats with a vengence! So scared someone will take the food, eats in a rush so I am doing 3 small meals a day.

Little Cosi is doing great! He now comes up to be pet and will even initiate play with his canine foster sisters. He loves to be outside and is doing very good with potty, only one accident in the last 5 days(my fault). He also doesn't eat ravanously anymore, he will eat a little and save some for later. He loves pig ears which we are using in the crate training process, he is getting better with getting in the crate. Once in, he once in a while will whine for about 5-10 minutes and then is quiet. He sleeps in the crate all night with no problems. He also is getting used to car rides, he went to an adoption for some exposure and didn't cry at all in the car. He also did very well with meeting all the dogs and the new people at the adoption. He is a little whimpy and will roll over on his back if he feels very intimidated by other dogs, but this will improve. Here are some pictures of "Little Buddy" to start with, more to come soon!

I just wanted to give a little update on Cos-man. He is probably one of the best fosters I've had the pleasure to have because he is making such remarkable strides. Whoever it was that said the ones that need the most work are the best fosters was right. It is so cool to see how every week he makes more strides. He now takes the lead of my two girls, they want to lay on the couch on my feet and be affectionate and he watches them and then inches his way on over. Last night he actually jumped on the couch and laid down by my feet and then inched his little head over and put it on my legs and looked at me as if to say, "look ma I am doing it...I'm close to you!" It was the cutest! He plays like a champ now too with the dogs...not too sure about human play yet. And most exciting...he will give lots of kisses to me now for butt rubs or neck rubs!
