Friday August 15th, 2003, Lorraine from Husky House went to the court hearing. She reported that the final verdict was to fine this woman $250 for dead cats found and $250 for the neglect to the dogs. The woman is also not allowed to own any animals for a minimum of 5 years. During which time the judge has ordered unannounced visits by the local SPCA.

In addition, the court has ordered her to pay the rescues a total of $1000 within 90 days which will be split among the rescues involved in fostering the animals.
