We are hiking in memory of Denali; she came to me at 6 weeks old, and died in my arms 13 years later. She was loved and adored every moment of her life. In her memory, I adopted Little Fox (the DESTROYER).

I was the fifth home she had by the time she was a year old; beautiful, sweet, and friendly, she was repeatedly returned because she is incredibly destructive! She's not bad, she just gets terrific separation anxiety when left alone. I realized if I didn't keep her, she would just keep getting adopted and returned until someone just chained her up in a backyard someplace for the rest of her life. I couldn't let that happen; so in memory of Denali, I committed myself to her, and I volunteer with my local Northern Breed rescue.

It is important to me that I give something, in honor of all the love I have been given by dogs. Please pledge to help the dogs who are not loved and adored every moment of their lives; TOTT helps so many to have the lives they deserve!

Hi I'm Stuart. I found my forever home on Feb 15, 2004. Well I knew it was my forever home and I think my mom did too, it just too her a while to really figure it out. We finally convinced daddy, (and well, bribed him with a Harley) and made it official on July 18 of 2004. Mom and I are hiking to help raise money so more homeless Sibes can find their forever homes and be as happy as I am. Please help by sponsoring us. Thanks Stuie

meet Eddie on Dogster!

Hi all...my name is Eddie and this year I lost my daddy to cancer. He adopted me from TOTT after my aunty Jodi fostered me and so now I live with my aunty Jodi again. My daddy used to say I was the bestest cuddler at night and my aunty Jodi is quickly finding that out to be true. When I first came into TOTT I was a VERY sick puppy and almost died...they helped me make it and find myself a great home. Won't you pledge in my honor and in honor of my daddy in Heaven? It would mean alot to him and me and to TOTT to be able to help all the other dogs they can in the years to come....my daddy loved all the foster dogs and giving them silly nicknames, aunty Jodi misses him lots so I try to give her extra kisses and cuddles to help her forget:)

meet Takoda on Dogster!

I showed Takoda for 3 years and he did very well. He earned his Supreme Grand Championship with Rarities, was #1 Shiloh in Rarities, 2004, and #3 Ranked Rare breed dog in Rarities, 2004. He was also Grand Victor (top dog) 2005 in his registry. He became a certified Therapy Dog in 11/05, and has been enjoying his visits to nursing homes, rehab centers and hospitals ever since. He is natural and just loves sharing smiles and love. He was born to do this job. He's also been through obedience classes and Freestyle dog dancing classes.

This is Dima. We received an email from a friend of ours, whose client had found a lost husky, and turned him into the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. She had a picture of Dima attached. Both Ray and I fell in love with his picture, and made plans to visit him at ARL, to possibly adopt him. When each of us arrived, and saw Dima, we were surprised to find that he really was not beautiful like in the picture. He had "freckles", and was tall, skinny, and gangly-looking. Well, we took him anyway, and soon discovered that somehow, we had managed to find "the most perfect dog in the world". He is absolutely perfect in every possible way, and now I think he is also the most handsome man I know!

Rouvik can't decide... Whether he will be walking around the lake chasing ducks or along the ocean in beautiful Prince-Edward Island? He really wants to help other Huskies that are not as lucky as he is so that they can, one day too, be faced with such a major dilemma. Meet Mimi and Molly on Dogster!

Hi! We're Mimi and Molly and we're driving up from the lovely Eastern Shore of Maryland to be with our Siberian friends! Both of us were adopted from a local humane society. We've spent a lot of time out in the community educating kids and adults about the importance of spaying and neutering. We also are volunteers with Pets on Wheels and we love to go visit our elderly friends in a nearby nursing home. We also attend many community events together and we do our best to help people understand the joys and challenges of owning a Siberian. We very much believe in the mission of TOTTSHR. Meet Cody and Zoe on Dogster!

Vila came into rescue September 4, 2004 as an undersocialized, high anxiety girl with a truckload of issues, and no idea what was expected of her. Today she is happy and healthy in a loving home but a million dogs like Vila are not so lucky. Today Vila begs for pledges as a symbol of commitment to help the many huskies just like her who sit in shelters waiting.

Wooo Woooo Wooo.... I am resting up so I am ready for my 3rd annual Tails of The Tundra Siberian Husky Resue (TOTTSHR) husky hike. I can't wait to see my Aunt Lee and meet Vienna. Although I never met Vienna's sister Lou Lou, I will be walking in her memory.

I will be walking this year and evey year as long as I am able so I can support TOTTSHR - an agency that has rescued and found homes for so many siberian huskies like me. You can also help by making a pledge today!

Meet Dakota on Dogster!

I had a rocky start to my life. At four years old, I was in search of my third and last home. See, when I was about two years old, I was found running around the streets of upstate New York. I was taken in by a nice woman and quickly became part of her family. After a break-up and some medical issues, my family situation soon changed. I left my house on the lake, my doggy pal and my way of life. Shortly after this my former mom contacted TOTT for assistance in re-homing me because she knew she could no longer provide him me stable, happy home that I so deserved.

After months of working with my surrendering owner, I was ready for my debut! It was May 2005 when I turned on the charm, flashed my gorgeous blue parti-eyes and claimed what was rightfully mine…a great forever home. Please help other Siberian Huskies in need by making a pledge today!

Meet Sheena on Dogster!

Mom and dad believe that spaying is very important, so I was spayed at four years old, whis is when they rescued me. Afterwards thought I was a new mommy. I collected all of my stuffed animals and two tennis balls and treated them as puppies. For two weeks I was a proud and very good mother, so my mom and dad told me. Then, one Sunday morning, I decided motherhood wasn't all that it was cracked up to be and I destroyed my favorite "puppy". I let the others survive, but I treat them like toys again.

Real puppies get destroyed everyday, please make a pledge to help TOTTSHR raise the money to spay and neuter more Siberian Huskies so less unwanted dogs are born!

Vienna's resting up for the hike because she's walking in memory of her sister Uilleann, who died from a rare autoimmune disorder known as Dermatomyositis. Lou Lou was brought into rescue at the same time as Vienna, and died way too soon.
