How to Register
 

Registration includes a Hike T-Shirt, Goodie Bag, and Dog Bandana. Registration is only $40/person.

In addition, each hiker is encouraged to raise pledges. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 individual fund raisers, and special gifts to those who raise a minimum of $50.

Registration is easy... you have four options:

  1. Register with paypal, fill out the online form, collect pledges and bring them with you the day of the hike.
  2. Print out a registration form, fill it out and send it in. Then collect pledges and bring them with you the day of the hike.
  3. Come out to Warminster Community Park the day of the hike and complete a registration form onsite. Onsite registration begins at 9am. The cost is $40 a person if you register the day of the hike.
  4. If you are unable to attend the hike you can still register as a remote hiker. Simply complete the registration form and mail it in or use the easy paypal form. You will be asked to add $8 to cover the costs of shipping and handling for your goodies if you qualify for any of the pledge incentives. To qualify for one of the top three prizes your pledge form and collected money must be postmarked by Sept. 21st.
 
Pledge Minimums & Prizes
 

Pledges can be gathered from family, neighbors, friends, school and work or you can sponsor yourself. All donations are tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 organization. Also, please check with your company’s HR department to see if they have a matching gifts program. Paypal, cash and checks are accepted. Tax receipts can be issued by request.The more you raise the more lives we’ll save. The rest is easy...

Pledges must be collected prior to the hike. You can mail your pledges to us: TOTTSHR, Inc., P.O. Box 612, Colmar, PA 18915 or turn them in at pledge table on the day of the Hike. Pledges must be received by 11 am at the pledge table on the day of the Hike or by mail they must be postmarked by Sept. 21st to qualify for these prizes! Hike prize awards will be announced at 12:30pm.

Grand Prize

The registered hiker with the most pledges will receive the Grand Prize! This gift basket is valued at over $350 and includes a canine cooling mat, treats, and plenty of other goodies!

2nd Prize

The registered hiker with the second most pledges receives the second place prize. The I Love My Fur-Wheel Drive tin contains over $200 worth of goodies!

3rd Prize

The registered hiker who raises the third most pledges will receive the $100 gift basket!

Hike Guidelines & Rules
 

We need your help to make sure that this hike runs smoothly and safely for everyone involved. These guidelines have been established to accomplish these goals. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us... call 267-566-5496 and leave a message with your name and contact information or email leew@siberescue.com.

  1. All dogs must be on a leash (6 ft. maximum) at all times. 6-foot leashes will be available for purchase at the hike. No flexi or extendable leashes permitted.
  2. Participants are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and agree to be responsible for their dog at all times during the hike/picnic.
  3. Limit of two dogs per handler. All attendees must have control of their dog(s) at all times. We will have a special time-out crate area, which will be supervised by TOTTSHR volunteers, if you need to crate your dog(s) for any reason. If you are handling 2 dogs, and we determine you do not have them under control, we reserve the right to ask you to crate one of the dogs.
  4. All dog handlers must be 16 or older. Under age hikers can walk a dog if the dog is secured by two leashes, one of which is under the control of someone 16 or older.
  5. Hikers who wish to walk one of our foster dogs must present a valid photo ID and must be 18 or older. However... dogs can be walked double lead (two leads attached to the dog, one held by an adult and one by a child.)
  6. No dogs are permitted in the food and picnic areas due to park and state health guidelines. Dogs can be secured in the time-out crate area.
  7. All dogs must be current on vaccinations and wearing their rabies tag and ID tags.
  8. TOTTSHR reserves the right to turn away dogs that are threats to participants of the hike or to flag dogs as potential threats.
  9. If your dog is not friendly with other dogs or strangers, you will be asked to have your dog wear a red Bandana, which we will provide if needed.
  10. Pledges should be collected prior to the hike. You can mail your pledges to us or turn them in at pledge table on the day of the Hike. Pledges must be received by 11am at the pledge table on the day of the Hike or postmarked by Sept. 21st to qualify for prizes!
  11. All dogs must be under the control of their handler at all times. All attendees must have control of their dog(s) at all times. We will have a special time-out crate area, which will be supervised by TOTTSHR volunteers, if you need to crate your dog(s) for any reason. Please note if we determine you do not have your dogs under control, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the area.
