Lares found his forever home with Marc and Jessica and their 3 cats Maxwell, Spencer and Delilah on August 14, 2004.

Update from Lares' new dad: Lares is doing great. He really is such a great dog. Everyone that meets him comments on what a great disposition he has. I have to keep an eye on my neighbor, I think he might be considering trying to switch his dog (cocker spaniel) with Lares.

Attached are a bunch of pictures over the period of time that we have had Lares. My favorites are the ones from the dog part this weekend. Lares isn't real big on playing with other dogs but for some reason he cannot resist a Great Dane. This weekend there happened to be two. It's hard to tell if he is trying to play with them or show them that he is the boss. It's pretty funny to see him next to these huge dogs.

I've been trying to get some pictures of him and the cats but no one seems to want to cooperate. Things are going well between the four of them, their not best friends and I don't think we'll see them laying around together but they seem to be more comfortable with each other everyday.
