Success Stories: Our Dogs

Bella found her forever home February 24, 2007.

From Bella's new family:

“As a family outing, we decided to go to Chapman’s dam and watch the dog sled races. We took our 1 year old husky, Chico, with us and decided to stop at the husky rescue tent. Upon getting there, we set eyes on Bella for the first time. Bella and Chico hit it off right away and soon after we considered adoption. The next day, we returned to Chapman’s with a filled out application and asked for a home inspection. Bella and Chico were playing in our living room not too long after. Bella has been a little trouble maker sometimes, but we love her anyways. The only time she actually ate anything while counter surfing was when she took a bite our of our youngest daughter’s sandwich. Other than that, she has brought excitement into our home. A time that we will cherish forever is when Bella was trying to get into her food, and got her head stuck in the bag. Chico finally has a friend to play with, but it is sad that he seems to enjoy playing with Bella instead of us sometimes.”
