Success Stories: Our Dogs

Zerlina found her forever home January 20, 2007.

Zerlina found her home with Konnie and Ron. Zerlina did exceptionally well meeting the cat and the bird at the adopter's home. After much thought and consideration they fell for Zerlina and she is going to be quite a spoiled little princess. They had already bought some toys for her and are talking about volunteering. Best wishes for Zerlina and her new family.

1-Year Anniversery of her adoption, Zerlina's mom writes:

Good morning everyone! It's hard to believe that one year ago today, our lives changed for the better.

Just want to touch base with you and thank you again for a year filled with happiness and lots of laughs! Zerlina is doing well and is by my side constantly. I love it and her especially. We still walk at least 3 times a day. We have gone through too many "squeaky" toys to count but she cracks us when she gets a new one. Until she totally destroys the squeak we can't hear anything but that sound. The louder we talk, the louder she makes the toy squeak. What a personality.

She is the "town watch" of the neighborhood. She knows when something is out of place and she has to investigate. To say she is nosy is an understatement.

She truly is a princess and she knows too and plays it to the hilt. Thanks again for everything!
