Second-hand dogs give first class love.
Aspen was owner surrendered due to an eviction, no fault of his own. He had known seizures since puppy hood but was said to be controlled. Within a week of coming to rescue it became evident they were not. We are still working to get the right medications for Aspen to remain seizure free so he won't be ready until then. Here he has been good with the other dogs, although he'd rather play independently with toys. He did have one incident with me guarding stolen candy back in December BUT his medication had increased significantly 24 hours before. Since then, he has shown me no aggression but for this reason I'm recommending older kids only.
This dog resides in our foster care, loved and cared for as our own. Just waiting for the day when their forever home is discovered.
